Heh. I found Your 20 Greatest Stain-Removing Tips - Reader-to-Reader from Care2.com
I have no idea where I got this batik deep inside my wardrobe! I supposed I could've gotten it for an Art project but..? I wouldn't have bought it to make a sarong..!
Another cheap sleeveless top which I used to wear a lot. It's simple but comfortable.
Sexy top. It has a hole in the middle, with a knot design. I had only worn this once or twice. The 1st time I wore it was to a disco and it was so dark that nobody noticed it. At least, I thought nobody notice it after my gorgeous, regal friend confided she was wearing nothing beneath her silver metallic mesh top, like JLO or those sexy Spanish actresses. Or Citibank promoters.
Somehow, I decided to keep this. I'll just wear another spaghetti top inside. That way, I wouldn't over expose :)
When Comma, a Japanese cheap, ok, affordable to some, apparel company came to Malaysia, a lot of girls dashed to their outlets to get their hands on Japanese street couture. The prices were from RM15-50 then. After sometime, friends would complain that the shape was out or colour faded.
What did you expect from such prices? The quality is always linked to the price, and vice versa.
I had a cardigan obsessed phase during college. College rooms were blasting cold air cond. Sam too influenced me into buying cardigans. I had a light blue colour phase too. But now, I'm not into wishy washy light blue anymore.
LOL. I detest loud colours. But this fuschia coloured shorts isss really comfortable. If I give this away, I would have 1 less shorts. I own... 3 shorts only, including this one. I shall have to buy another shorts during the coming sale. I dreamt I found a colourful - yellow, aqua, blue, green, white shorts at a discounted price. I was so happy in the dream! So far, I had yet to find that shorts. Oh, well, better luck next time :)
1 of the hardest blouse I had ever worn! But also 1 of the most special in design. The buttons are hard metal cuff links or screwlike. ^_^ There's actually a technique to button and unbutton it. Pull and press the side cloth and then press the button from 1 side to the other to get the button through. Definately gives a rush frust whenever I need to wear it ASAP.
Such a sweeeeeet print! :) The skirt is until my foot and the cloth is really comfortable, with lining. I bought it for CNY 2 years ago? Jim complained that, "Are you sure you are into fashion? This is a grandmother's skirt! It doesn't match your top also!"
I was insulted! "Eh, what do you know about fashion? I love designing gowns. Not casual wear. This is a nice skirt ah! Always say I'm a tomboy, I'm wearing skirt now ah!" :P
Now I realised that no matter what I wear, I would still be a tomboy if I behave like a tomboy. :)
I would love to be a feminine princess, wearing long flowery skirts and all but I find wearing long skirt inconvenient. I can hardly move fast. What if I were attacked and I needed to run or fight back? I have to hold my skirt up when walking on wet floor or going up the staircase/escalator.
Back in my last year of secondary school, I joined a uniform club, Leo Club - miniatures of Lion Club (for adults). Mostly we hid under the name volunteer charity group while we (tried to) gained popularity and (fake) self-esteemed by collecting other school logos. The more you have on your vest, the more popular you are.
This skirt was custom made. I had never had anything custom made by other people other than my mom. She designed and sew fabulous dresses when I was a kid. When I was in secondary school, I was too ashamed to wear her designs out. The tailors were from my neighbourhood.
I hoped my waist was small, like those popular founders of the Club but alas, my perception was not accurate. I sucked in my stomach. I held my breath.
I was like, please make me invisible, I just wanted to disappear beneath the floor.
I had scrawny arms but vertically challenged waist. :(
Mom complained that the skirt was too short.
No ak! Old fashioned mentality.
I LOVE this navy t-shirt! It's sooo comfortable! It's gathering balls of cotton too.. :( I have another white (pure white) t-shirt of the same design. I wanted to buy more the next season after I had bought this but couldn't find it anymore then...
I have another simple navy dress from Somerset Bay which I bought for my Diploma or Higher Diploma.... yeah, Higher Diploma Graduation. It's exactly made from the same material and texture except that this is a top.
Used to love navy colours too.
Ahh... among the oldest clothing I own. Olivia, my secondary school best friend was crazy about grown up clothes. She had tons of vests. I hitched along...
Loved this, I wore this to tuition a lot and even Olivia gasped, "Where did you buy this? It's so nice!"
That felt great. Glad she approved. After all, she was the Queen of Vests. Olivia only bought branded and expensive clothes. I felt like I went a step ahead by getting a nice vest at a lower price than those hoitty toitty brands. :p
Ah, friends... We don't keep in touch anymore, Olivia and I.
>-| I can hardly see the design in this scan.
It's a slit collar - making it a mixture of round and v-shaped collar. The material is a bit shiny when the light hits it. Comfortable too.
